Beretta Nano 9mm First Impressions with Gun Porn - FateofDestinee

Introducing the Beretta Nano with Destinee from FateofDestinee

As a woman looking for new concealed carry options, I prefer the size of the Nano as it is easier to conceal in some of the tighter clothing I wear than some other sub-compact options. This one is chambered in 9mm Luger (9x19mm Parabellum), but I believe they will be offering it chambered in .40 S&W as well.
It has interchangeable three (3) dot sights, which is a style I like for the sight picture. They are adjustable using a small hex wrench, and your fingers, so no need to go to a gunsmith to alter or upgrade your sights.
The steel barrel, slide, and chassis (housed within the fiberglass reinforced technopolymer grip frame) give the gun a weight and solid feel that I think helps me keep it steadier, compared to some other sub compact models with polymer frames.
The trigger has a double action style trigger pull (with a Glock style drop safety). I think that's good for conceal carry because that round isn't going to fire unless you mean it.
These are some of my first impressions of the new Beretta Nano; however, I also want to talk to a couple of other people to get their impressions.
Hippy Chick: Peace, Love, and Beretta. I'm really into this pistol. Beretta didn't reinvent the sub compact, they just made it a little better. 500 years of history in one pistol. Can you dig it?
Professor Des: The fiberglass reinforced technopolymer grip frame houses the stainless steel chassis (the serialized portion of the firearm). This means that the grip frame can be replaced and is completely customizeable.
Emo Girl: Features I appreciate about the Nano: black nitride finish, no snag edges, easily concealable, and interchangeable sights, so I can change to night sights without taking it to a gunsmith.

And because I think it's such a cool looking handgun, here's some gun porn.

Thankya. ;] I thought that would be a fun way to give a couple different impressions of the pistol. I like to mix things up to keep it interesting, you know? The sound track is one of my personal compositions. I don't really name them lol but I'm glad you like it. Thank you.

Please, please, PLEASE get a lavalier mic and use it!You look great with the diffused light, white background and easy manner, but you sound like you're in a bathroom because you're using the camera mounted mic. As a 20+ year, EMMY winning video production guy, it grinds my gears to hear this unnecessary poor audio. Spend $75 on a lav and you're audio will be cleaner, crisper and far more understandable and professional. You've obviously put a great deal of time and effort into each production only to see it wasted with easily corrected poor audio. Even the $20 lav available at at Radio Shack would be better than nothing. This is such a quick and easy fix, you should see an improvement immediately. Whew, that's off my chest and I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

Ahh, you're so right. I've been holding out on picking up new equipment, but it really was past time for me to get a microphone. I have since followed your recommendation and picked up a little lavalier and started learning how to polish the audio element of my videos, but that's a whole new ball game for me haha I appreciate the time you took to give me your input. I do put a lot of work into my vids - it's a labor of love - but I am always looking to improve my production quality.
